MEP Schöpflin in NPR Interview: ‘Hungarian Public Opinion Is In Shock’ Over the Migrant Crisis

In response to the reporter’s question about whether the EU is doing enough, MEP Schöpflin says that discussions are taking place but it would require that all 28 Member States agree on the solution. Regarding Hungary, Schöpflin points out that the large number of migrants, expected to reach 300,000 this year, is a shock to the Hungarian public, a country with no experience with Muslin minorities, while most attention focuses on migration problems in Italy and Greece.
